Reel 2012 This reel consists of some of my favorite shots from 2012.  Last year was an exciting year.  I traveled to costa Rica, Ireland, and New York City for shoots.  I also started my own production company, Sky Sabin Productions, LLC.  All of the footage is from various shoots, for various clients, but all of the footage was filmed by me.

Sky Sabin is a musician, filmmaker, and photographer.  He received a BA from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, with a concentration in music composition.  He has performed his original songs in Boston, Providence, New York, and Cork, Ireland.  His first short film, “At The Heart Is The Guitar,” debuted at the Woods Hole Film Festival in 2010.  Since then Sky has made a variety of short films about local agriculture for Buy Fresh Buy Local Cape Cod, filmed the Boston GuitarFest 2010, created a how to video about backyard chickens, and has been making surf and skate videos for local shops in Newport, RI.

In his youth, Sky read the works of C.S. Lewis, J. K. Rowling, and J.R.R Tolkien.  With each book he grew bored with his own world, and longed for owls to deliver his mail.  Yet with each passing year, Sky began to realize that amazing things happen in real life.  People create beautiful instruments with their hands, read the tides to raise oysters, and cultivate dry earth to grow grapes to make wine.  There are great stories in the world, one just has to take the time to look and listen.
